Case #VA19-00009 Public Hearing and Consideration for a rear yard setback variance for Blocks Five (5), Six (6), and Eleven (11) of The Lakes at Cross Timbers, Phase 1. (G&W Property Group, LLC)
The applicant is requesting to move the rear building line from the required 20-feet to 15-feet on all lots in Block Five and Six and to 12-feet on all lots in Block Eleven, in The Lakes at Cross Timbers, Phase 1 final plat. The property is zoned ‘A’ Single Family Residential. This variance will affect no more than 28 lots. The applicant was previously approved for a 15-foot front yard setback on all lots in Blocks Five and Six by the Board of Adjustment.
The affected lots are completely within The Lakes of Cross Timbers plat. The plat as a whole backs up to Shiloh Valley to the east, Town Square to the south, unplatted residential to the west and Fairfax to the north on the north side of Covell Road.
