Acceptance of bid and Approval of Contract for the Animal Shelter Expansion Project and Resolution No.__________ Appointing Purchasing Agent for the Engineering Department; $3,275,000.
Background
Staff recommends accepting the bid for the Animal Shelter Expansion Project from from Shiloh Enterprises, Inc in the amount of $3,235,000 base bid,  Alternate 1 - replace kennel floor $19,000 and Alternate - 2 replace doors $21,000 for a total of $3,275,000. Plus unit pricing if needed:
Interior Painting - $1.05 sq ft
Exterior Painting -  $1.19 sq ft

This is the lowest and best bid received.
