Approval of Resolution No.___________ A Resolution of the City of Edmond, Oklahoma modifying the City's contribution to the indoor and outdoor Tennis Complex project with the Edmond Public Schools; $490,242.
Background
Our previous actions have been to cover the expenses associated with the construction of the facility.  This action adds the design service contract with the Edmond Public Schools (EPS) into the total project costs.  The breakdown of costs is similar to how we worked with EPS on the Recreation/Competitive Pool project.  Total building construction cost is $16,005,000; EPS is paying $9,252,500 or 58% of the cost and the City is paying $6,752,500 or 42% of the cost.  We are using these same ratios to split the design service fee ($1,167,243): EPS will pay 58% or $677,001 and the City will pay 42% or $490,242.  We budgeted $7.5M in the 2017 CIP Sales Tax.  We have budget authority for this expense.
Time Frame
The funding authority is available on approval of this item and we will reimburse the EPS for our share of the expenses which have already occurred on this project.
Issue
We will have additional expenses associated with this project relating to entrance street construction and land acquisition for the northern access which we are very near having all the documents returned relating to the purchase.
